Southeast Colorado | Or maybe I should say just plain stupid? Today we sit locally at $7.68 @ +40 May. I have 15k bushels of corn in bags unpriced. I think another 25 cents will shake a lot of corn loose in this market. I'm trying to decide if I should be one of those that are shaken. These are not necessarily gambling stocks............but if I was to recieve only $5 a bushel it wouldn't be the end of the world............merely another notch on my poor marketing pistol. I guess my point here is do you guys think that the overall market psychology would shake this grain loose at something close to $8 and that those of us willing to take a chance (EGO/ bragging rights..........LOL) should just wait it out even further? I realize this is a loaded question but what I'm really after is trying to get a feel for the herd mentality...............because I'd really like to be running the opposite direction! | |
