Hi Pat,

Ha.. maybe a strychnine laced krill? Seriously though, there are alot of techniques to hunt them. I have probably posted a 100 prep hours of whale related stuff up here - these have included not one bit of news, and never a squiggly line generated by some mathematical formula. It's not a coincidence that the "V" patterns in John's chart are inline with the news releases. Often there are traps set before the news. Like tuna being chummed into nets by the fisherman, the news(chum) just disguises what really was going on (the nets being circled). People want a reason for what has happened - but only reasons that do not hurt their mental framework.  For instance, could you imagine the headline:

"The stock market was up today because the masters of the market dupped everybody into getting short, then made them all cover - propelling the market to close on it highs for the week.  The cost to the small investor was estimated in the 10's  of  millions of dollars.  In other news today, XYZ company, the manufacturers of luxury yachts, released they have presold all their 2013 production to unspecified customers."

Don't think that would create to many hits on a website - but in reality, the first part is way more accurate than most of the bunk that is printed...IMO.  Case in point, here's a chart with the last year's grain stock reports dates.  Looks like a trading the direction of the report is a good way to make a million...... out of two.

Have a great weekend!
