Gavilon has a real nice website http://www.gavilon.com/locations#cashbids for Cash bids.  They do not have it for my closest elevator Billings MT.   They had 82 elevators listed.  But had fun comparing basis and new crop vs. old crop spreads. 

 I used Creston Iowa for example (see below, copy & paste).   $2. 30 spread from old crop to new crop!       Holding old crop corn past March 13' does not pay currently, only 3 cent reward for waiting till July cash bid. 

I think basis contracts might be the way to go if you are not yet content with todays prices.   I'm still stumped on how to deal with next years crop....  Same issues on old vs.new wheats,  sold some old crop DNS on a basis contract last week, yet to lock the futures board.  

I guess we will all know the answers a year from now...    For now I guess we just let Fry, Cupps bros, Clicker, Garvo, and the rest of the "Good ol' boys" keep us entertained and keep our sanity.....
