cropsey, il 61731 | In the US some bankers thought contract growers would not care for the pigs because they were not their's. You can see the banker's point to an extent, but most of us like the whole walk in walk out program - much easier than dragging dead ones. Now I wonder if the Chinese guys set up a lot of modern barns, shoved pigs in, delivered feed and planned to go in again in 5 months? That would be a way to kill lots of pigs. Just a guess. For outside pigs there would have to have been a flood or big area of fire. Pigs are usually a notch up from other critters on looking for an excuse to die (but not huge notches).
Kind of wonder why the chinese were worried about paylean - it appears to be the least of their problems.
Does hsus has a new program for getting the vegan thing going? Will there be telling video?
The genetic modification thing seems pretty sketchy especially with that many pigs involved - who runs a trial on that number of pigs?
Btw, the gmo stuff is nonsense just in case anyone was wondering http://www.marklynas.org/2013/01/lecture-to-oxford-farming-conferen...
