Near-north Ontario, French River | Looking good, your comment about not getting N on in the fall has me baffled though. Maybe it's a here vs there thing but I've never heard of N going onto Winter wheat in the fall around here. It all goes on in the spring, usually one shot of 90-100lbs actual , although some guy still do split apps. N is just starting to go on in our area, but most will wait until mid to late April when the wheat breaks dormancy. What's the reasoning behind fall N? |
