Rivers, MB | We went from a 9370 CaseIH 4WD to a 9520T (have a quadtrac as well). The T pulls like a mule. However, we found it rode much rougher than a wheeled tractor in our conditions. The 30 series T's are supposed to be smoother. I think it will depend on soil conditions. In areas where alot of tillage is done (unlike our area), I can see that the T will be much smoother than wheeled tractors. We found that the T liked to pull only in straight lines. In our pothole country, that was a problem. In areas where everything is straight up and down, the T will be a great tractor. For us, right now, we think our quad trac will be a better fit.
I'm surprised that that you find the wheeled 9520 rough. I've ridden with my cousin in his 9620 w/ triples and 9320 w/ 710's and thought they were quite smooth. | |
