Didn't smell the fluid in the corral, but it was red so it may be transmission fluid. My bed has just regular tractor hydraulic fluid, and I have used it several times to lift equipment and it does fine. On the corral it wouldn't even hardly move the cylinders even when the ram was up in the air. I am starting to wonder if one of the new hydraulic coupler has an issue and wasn't letting fluid thru. I used 1/4" hose to make our new hoses which is what all the hoses on the corral are so I think that shouldn't be the problem. I bypassed the corral's hyd motor all together and hooked directly into the valve body.
