| Thanks guys. I couldn't see the impeller to see if it was turning so I took it apart without breaking the tag wire which means I just barely got it far enough apart to see the impeller. The impeller turned so I put it back together. Then I found out that continuity between the two outside pins would register flow so I changed the flow meter number to 1 and then tapped and the field volume did increase. So for the heck of it just to see if my partial diss-assembly dislodged anything worked, I hooked it back up and poured some water through the flow meter and it registered flow. I put the old flow meter calibration number back in and have been using it today and it seems pretty accurate.
I'm not sure exactly what the deal was but I really appreciate your suggestions. It really helped. Thanks again. | |
