Subject: Re: Dumping air bags

There is no reason to ever dump air on truck or trailer. I've hauled thousands of loads and never dumped air- traps wide open or just a little. You will hear the air ride adjusting to the load changes as you dump and it will take care of itself. I have also hauled thousands of loads of grain on an air ride truck with box and hoist. I never dumped the air on it either and it was just fine. Only time I would ever dump air is when pulling a spread axle trailer to make it easier on the trailer axles when turning.
