Subject: RE: Easy Way to Remove JD 6620 Radiator

The only thing holding the radiator in from the top is the sheet metal on either side of the flip up cover over the rad cap. I had to take mine out quick one fall and didn't want to take half the machine apart, so I just ground out a few spot welds, pulled the sheet back, unhooked the hoses, and the radiator comes straight up and out. Would have been real simple for deere to make all the metal on top hinge instead of just the cap cover. After I slipped the rad back in, screwed the sheet metal back down with screws. Looks almost like new.
