You can set it up so that it will work, but it will not be an optimum setting. There is actually only one optimum setting for any given plow width in order to maintain proper line-of-draft. On-land or in-furrow is really dictated by the width of the plow.....the fact that there are choices is because there is room to operate outside of optimum line-of-draft with reduced preformance.
