Martinsville, Ohio | Yes, only in very well managed fields, best soil types can I find good rhizobia cell counts. Those are are very few.
On normal fields where soybeans may be raised this year I think we have deficient soil rhizobia counts. I don't think you will find any inoculant dealers who will disagree! If you want to test, it's going to take some leg work and investment.
I will rest with my view that soil rhizobium levels are low, for many reasons, and I will double inoculate to try and be sure I have enough there when the dicotyledon breaks the soil.
