Ed , do you mean in average fields you are not seeing many beneficial organisms?? I believe this topic all relates to a part of cover crop science that is not considered or well understood, being that perhaps the most important aspect of cover crops is how they keep the cycle of life of microbes flourishing when a crop is not there to do this. Also cover crops would keep soil temps cooler and keep count numbers up?
