Do you want "private" because you don't trust the cloud? I used to struggle with this but in the past 18 months have had a full shift of thought on that. If you trust the companies you are working with/buying from then the cloud offers a much more robust and reliable product. No updates to install, backups to make, and you can access easily from anywhere.
