I have been catching up on a few bills and found the attached notice from my REA. Minimum $44 per month for a meter plus $.1195 per kilowatt. And there will probably be a "power cost adjustment" on top of that. We have a storage shed with a night light. The only other electricity used would be a portable air compressor, fuel pump, lights when pulling in the shed at night, and engine heater if used. Last month it used 67 kwh and the total bill was $32.14. Using the same amount and "power cost adjustment" under the new rate the 67 kwh would cost about $53.50 (not sure about exact tax amount, should be close). Let's do a comparison.Dig out your electric bill and see what your cost is and figure what it would be if you used 1000 kilowatts. I have 3 different locations using 2 companies.
