The accuracy of the EZ-Guide 250 and EZ-Guide 500 on WAAS with the same Ag15 antenna is the same. With the low cost patch antenna, the accuracy is sub-meter for the EZ-Guide 250. The low cost patch will not work on the EZ-Guide 500. If you do connect the low cost patch to the EZ-Guide 500, you will let all the smoke out of the patch antenna, and then you will have a low cost refrigerator magnet.

The EZ-Guide 250 uses the same 50 Hz update rate for the EZ-Steer 500. Our testing showed that if you are going to use EZ-Steer 500 with the EZ-Guide 250, you will get much better results with the Ag15 antenna, than you will with the low cost patch antenna. Most dealers got that same message about the low cost patch at the dealer meeting.
