| The 200 ppm caught my attention. Formaldehyde has a very low threshold for human detection. Something less than 1ppm.
"Different threshold values are available for the odor perception of formaldehyde. Devos et al.(25) have calculated a standardized human olfactory threshold of 0.87 ppm (1.07 mg m−3). The WHO has estimated absolute odor thresholds (defined as the concentration at which 50% of the panel detects the odor) between 0.06 and 0.22 mg m−3.(10) In the INDEX report17,26 very low odor thresholds of 0.03 and 0.035 mg m−3 are specified, which refer to an updated WHO report(27) and an unavailable paper from 1917 cited in Devos et al.,(25) respectively." That draws in more doubt about the data.
