Wi | Saying a KW cab is nicer is like saying a Ford cab is nicer than a Dodge. Yes it is put together a little better to begin with, but it is in the options. If you get a plain jane splendor interior its not going to be the really nice quiet plush smooth cab. Just like if you get a work truck package in a pickup. If you get the Diamond interior with Quiet Cab insulation, then you will be driving in peace.
Theres still some people that don't like the KW cabs. Personally they are my favorite. The Dash may be a bit of a reach, especially the radio, but if it was any more slanted it would probably be in the way otherwise. I like the leg room in the KW. I am always banging my knees elbows and so on when getting in and out of our mack or freightliner, but in the KW's I can't even touch the windsheild from the seat. Its narrow which helps with visibility in a way.
A W900 is going to ride nicer and have higher resale, however a T800 is going to manuever better if you have very tight situations. This is mostly only getting in and out of fields. In door yards there is usually plenty of room and outside of your farm the rest of the places are designed for longer trucks. Past that they are identical trucks from the firewall back. KW sleepers are nice. Even in the Flat Top Aerocab's a 6' tall person can stand up. They also off the couch package in the larger ones. A 2004 ISX could be EGR or it could not be. You can tell by looking at the drivers side of the motor. Compare the pictures of them with an 02 truck and an 05 truck on truck paper and you should see the differences.
