Subject: N applications rates on cereal rye for forage

Dalton, OH

Have some cereal rye we planted originally for a cover crop, but due to the serious shortage of forage around here, I am planning on making it as a forage(silage/baleage).  Been raising cereal rye for seed and using 75 lbs of N on it with good results.  Wondering if I should cut back the rate a little on the forage?  It was notilled into corn stalks and beans stubble last fall.  Thoughts, suggestions?  All of the rye ground will be planted to corn or beans following harvest.
