$60 000 might go further than you think depending on how big your old barn is to change into a shop. A concrete floor w/o floor heat, insulation and some tin for the inside of the walls goes a long ways to having a winter working space. We turned an older wooden quonset shed into a heated shop for a fraction of what a new shop would cost us. It has its limitations and isn't as nice as a new one. But sure is a nice shop compared to having no shop. We're in there everyday of the week in the winter.
Making our 4430 JD and 2590 Case turn into a 8100 MFWD is on my dream list. | |
