Enjoyed the pictures. I was in Fort Riley, KS the summer of 1961, before I got out of active duty. I was in the 1st Infantry division and at that time they were sending advisors to help the South Viet Namese train to fight North Viet Nam. They were only advisors. They did not do any of the fighting. It started changing after I got out to where more troops were being sent over and it came to be a full blown war.
