NE CO | You are absolutely right, it would be my fault for allowing myself to be distracted. But on the other hand, does that warning do any good whatsoever? I didn't even remember what it said when I started this post and just went out and checked it to continue. To summarize the warning screen:
1. read the instructions (thats a new one I've never heard before)
2.stay in the vehicle while driving (duh!!)
3.watch out for obstacles (double duh)
4.turn off ez-steer before exiting vehicle (Why???)
And finally three down clicks of "by clicking ok I assume all responsibility" (God bless the lawyers)
My issue with this is that I don't really believe any of those warnings will prevent an accident. All are common sense (except for the admonintion to turn off the ez-steer when exiting the vehicle- this is an issue on a 4WD tractor when you could be squeezed, though I honestly hadn't made that connection until now, mine's in a sprayer). Its a stupid world we live in when we have to mark coffee cups with the admonition, Careful, Contents Hot.
I still think it would be nice to be able to skip the warning after the umpteenth time when it becomes meaningless.
