Central Missouri | That has always been the fear based on the last 50 years of soil science. I would contend that it is about availability not soil test numbers unless you have very low testing soils. Their no-til cc systems are improving availability by a huge amount. Availability is driven by a large number of things; with-out some of them the system won't work. One of the main ones is oxygen and if one has a soil that goes oxygen deficient at times due to poor internal drainage, and availability goes to zirp can these systems recover quickly with minimal crop yield consequences. I will have that question and will be soliciting suggestions as to how to overcome the problem on Thurs. | |
