Yes, and he is feeding all of the elements foliar in low dose amounts, it takes a plane or irrigator to do that well.

The year he raised 160 was especially hot and the timing of the colling water over the canopy caused some nice clouds of CO2, adding tens of bushels.

All together it added up to many more pods set and filled.

I was just as impressed last summer with beans yielding over 100 dryland with no irrigator.

This is why I was more interested in Hinkebein's 100 bu dryland when Kip raised 160 irrigated.

I struggle to get enough N on high yield beans without burning the beans and dropping pods.
