I say I am an agronomist. I am, got a degree and worked most time in the industry for the last 45 years. I decided to be an agronomist probably unknowingly when dad let me drive his JD 3020 45 years ago.
They say what is that? I say it is Latin for manage farm. Sometimes they nod and go away and some stay around to talk.
Since I don't own a farm but help farmers, I am an agronomist.
Don't call yourself a farmer.
