Subject: Moldboard plow and tractor

Is it possible to set up a semi mounted, in the furrow 5-16" bottom plow to operate correctly with the tractor having its tire settings set for 28" rows (straddle two rows at at time, so 56" center spacing)?
I have no owners manual for the plow. I do remember when I was young that some farmers changed their wheel setting to plow others didn't. The tractor I desire to use has not had its spacing changed in some time and I am sure the hubs are froze. I am thinking if possible change the plow setting then be done with ever having to change settings each time I want to plow.
can some one offer some advice ?
