| Honda's are the Cadillac. Very quiet. Those with Briggs will work decently probably. Then there are ones made in China with either 2 cycle or 4 cycle engines that tend to cost $199 unless on sale at Lowe's or Northern. They aren't terribly noisy.
Be sure that there's ventilation from them to keep them cool and to not hurt the people and horses around them. A few people at St. Louis have suffered from running generators inside in the past few days.
