I remember seeing the tests Rafiq Islam took at David Brandt's farm years ago and it was off the charts. The total uptake was hundreds of pounds per acre planted after SRWW in Ohio. This was soil around the tubers if I remember right.
The closer the tubers get to maturity the higher the uptake was, thus the continuous question, how late can you plant radish here and get the benefit?
