The English system has worked fine all these years, so why did we ever let the auto and ag industry shove the metric system on us. I've always said that anyone who didn't like the English system in this country was welcome to pack up a white flag and move to France.

Had we refused to buy anything meteric way back then (when first started to change) then we wouldn't have all this mess. I see no problem with staying a little bit different than the rest of the world. We aren't asking them to change. If other countries don't know how to convert a bushel to their system then thats THEIR problem. They will still buy if they need it----especially if they are a little bit hungry.
