Pick one or the other. I don't really care, but I dislike having both. Once you get used to metric it isn't all that scary.

I've never figured out bushels however. All grain here is measured in tons. Not tonnes, tons. I always have to stop and convert if someone is talking in bushels since I rarely here the term. Someone who is used to bushels would have to stop and convert if they heard me discussing my wheat yeild in tons.
