Are you doing everything by what the ISU calculator says? My gut instinct would be "it depends". If spring applied, I wouldn't expect 100# of N to be sufficient. If you are side-dressing, it may be sufficient. I guess "it depends" upon the weather. I never count the N in my MAP or DAP toward my final N rate, but that is my opinion. Someone on here will tell you that you can because it is Ammonium Nitrogen
