Texas a/m done a study on feedlot manure few years back , it used alot around this area due to so many very large feedlots. Wish we could get compost manure easier.Its good stuff for fertilizer, lots of phos,N and others. They always stressed that once you get it spread , it needs to be tilled asap due to loss of nutreints into atmosphere. Tx a/m had a chart it showed loss per day. Its handy here , there is a 70000 hd. yard down the road a ways. My pet peeve on it is the rocks,pipe,cement and other hard objects left after it is spread and we have to pickup .
