I think you'll find most folks tend to post way below their 'emotional investment' in an issue because this is a place for discussion not a place to get satisfaction (though it could happen). On the marketing side, most of us are and will be still guessing until we quit or become advisors, but it's not the first rodeo either. For example you posted about the SA port issues and I'm pretty sure about everyone here as listened to reports of SA port issues ever since they started exporting. What would be interesting to know is how might be different this time, so I'm at least going to question you in hopes of potentially gaining more insight. It's not meant as derogatory. Coup has some strong opinions on marketing and seems to think the purchase of a hammer is probably one of the best tools - he has been right in the past and may be in the future, but it doesn't mean he won't get a slew of questions when he makes a relatively bold statement (see acre discussion below).
A big part of the reason for posting here is to here is to get differing points of view. I expect to get responses that might as well start with 'hey bonehead, that's a mistake...' but usually more politely worded. It's really not a place to fight about who is right, but to present persuasive arguments to support your position. It's up to the reader to make his/her own decisions.
