Only with certain herbicides. Mainly with clethodim and glyphosate. I dont really cut rates per'se. But if I know the target is somewhat tough to kill at a given rate (often max labelled) I add crop oil to aid it along a bit.

 There have been quite a few write ups on this site in the past about using mso's and other oils as surfactants and additives.
