You could show them the ld50 numbers. This is a standard test done that determines how many milligrams/kilograms of body weight in rats will kill 50% of the test animals. Here are some numbers for you. Water 90000 mg/kg. sugar. 29700 mg/kg. vitamin c 11900mg/kg. roundup. 5000 mg/kg. table salt. 3000mg/kg. aspirin. 200mg/kg. caffeine 192 mg/kg. nicotine 50mg/kg. hope this helps you out.
