So you are saying they don't read labels and do not follow the law but somehow the herbicide is supposed to be responsible for ineffectiveness and potential environmental damage? I haven't been farming long on my own but I know chemicals somewhat well due to the nature of my day job. I'd love to see a chemist go after Sigma-Aldrich for irresponsible use of xyz chemical. I bet that would make it 15 seconds before everyone laughed at the offending chemist. Why should we be any different as farmers? We need to hold ourselves to a higher standard than put forth in your example. Ignorance is no excuse. The label is on the container for a reason. It is the law. Read and obey it. | |
