The research I believe you are referring to was conducted on a very specific species of rat that has a genetic pre disposition to tumors. Tumors were also found in rats that were in the check group. Don't get me wrong though you should definitely not bath in it or drink it. If you know what you are doing you can almost get any outcome you want out of an experiment.
