Subject: Earthworms and GMO corn residue

North Central Iowa
Just reading about 300 bu corn posted below and the discussion on worms got me thinking about what if any impact GMO corn has on earthworms. VT triple pro or viptera produce proteins that kill ear worm and root worms by eating parts of the plant. So what is the impact to earthworms when they eat the trash from on top of the ground? The protein produced is still there. I don't have an answer just asking the question.
