Martinsville, Ohio | I met Dale at NNTC, his title was Fencerow Farming. He invited me to his farm and I invited him to ours.
His pictures of nightcrawlers pulling down dying leaves looked like telephone guy wires, seriously.
He showed me his production records and he has done better than I have the last nine years.
I just don't like the idea of 4 rows of corn beside 4 rows of beans but boy has he ever made that work.
One note, he put on 25 ton? of mushroom compost and his corn yield went DOWN 50 bu. Turns out the compost had too much salt in it.
