Martinsville, Ohio | That's funny, you are south of me and my March corn did not get smoked to the ground but got dinged pretty good.
The sweetcorn was excellent and the same hybrid pair planted March 18, April 17 and May 21 yielded in that order but very close. All season long a stress would hit the crop and I would think one date was better than another but it turned out best by planting date. And, the early dates not have the best stand of wheat or cover crop in that order, too. It staged my next crop of course.
