I am generally for planting early, as for how early? IDK, but if the conditions were the same as they were last year, I would be all for planting early. Last year I planted my corn round the 20th of April, some in the area were the first week of march. Except for some really late corn, that was able to pollinate during a cold spell, all the corn in the area was bad and much of it was cut for silage.
