Ohio | We did not get a hopper bottom wet bin for our project that will be happening this spring. They are extremely expensive compared to a flat bin and we have heard of a few nightmares that have occured because of lack of air flow through the hopper bottom bins. Almost everyone in our area uses a flat bin and they either make a "dry corn cone" in the bottom of it or they use wet corn for the cone and clean it out 2 or 3 times during down time. Not to many big hopper wet bins around us. | |
