Morris, IL
See you pretty much talked me into a hopper bin with your post. I want nothing to do with sweeping a wet bin daily, especially when we will barely fill it half full with out current combine. I was under the impression with lots of air i could go a week or so in 25% or less. Fill bin for last time saturday night and sweep it monday morning. Or during a rain event, which ever comes first.

We are trying to reduce labor and make things simpler coming from stirator bins. 3 guys, one in combine, cart, and semi. Run of 12 hours max and get to go home and night and with CF dryer we will be actually getting something done. Rather then fixing stirators for 6 hours and moving from field to field filling different bins for another 6 hours and getting maybe 1/3 done in a day we could be.
