Subject: Re: Hopper vs. Flat Wet bin

Mohawk Indiana
Our bin dealer advised us not to use a regular farm bin for wet holding. He is a GSI dealer and we put up what they call a Farm-Com, it is wider sheets and stiffened. He said the regular corrugation on a farm bin will have more trouble holding up with the constant down draft of a wet holding bin. We put up our wet holding bin 13 years ago and have no problems only that I wish it was bigger. It is 21 ft 5 wide rings flat bottom, holds 5500 bu or so. We have a 9670 with an 8 row head and you are right to make bigger than you need now. I wish ours was 3 times as big.
