Is there really anything desirable (frame wise) that could be done with independent row drives, electric or hyd, that couldn't already be done with Deere's Pro drives?

I really can't see any reason you'd want planter units on a V ripper style frame.     On a large planter that would leave a pretty big V when you back into a corner and plant out.

I could see it making it easier to do multiple folds and with bulk fill I think over center vertical fold might be a viable option for the 30' - 60' planters.
