Manitoba | We had the front right tire on our FWA go flat a couple years ago. I was spreading fertilizer at night and I didn't see it right away, GPS and sprayer monitor in the way. Anyways it got ran long enough to screw the sidewall, but we couldn't get a tire right away. So we took a die grinder and smoothed it out a bit, there was some exposed cords, and put a tube in it. Got the tube in and we really weren't sure it was gonna last a couple days till the replacement got here, so we grabbed a bottle of baby powder and dumped it all in. 3 years later and that tire is still on the tractor, new tire is in the shed. I'm sure if we didn't have that new tire it would have went flat in 2 days. | |
