Missouri
Had a 9400 that intermittently lost power. Engine would run, and throttle control would work during malfunction, but engine would not restart if shut off, and many other electrical functions would be nonoperational..

Issue occurred one day in the field. Storm clouds rolling in, grain tank near full (Soybeans), auger swung out fully. Engine was off for other reasons, first sign of trouble was engine would not restart. Dead in the water. CRAP! On to Plan B!

Jumped solenoid to start engine. Realized electric parking brake release is an affected system. Stranded on location. CRAP! Plan C!

Pulled grain wagon into field, pulled under auger. Unload engagement is also affected system CRAP! Plan D!

Got 10mm wrench from toolbox. Manually actuated parking brake release, intending to road home to the shed. Realize auger still folded out. CRAP! That plan was bad from square 1. Starting to drip now. Plan E!

Time to call help. Cell phone at that time was depending on charger cord. Cigarette outlet is revealed to be affected system. Stranded, broke down, rain coming, without phone. CRAP! Plan F!

Drive tractor and wagon back to truck. Survey toolbox, assess options. Grab jumper cables and screwdriver, go back to combine. Hook jumper cables to positive battery, carry cable over grain tank, into cab. clamp other end to screwdriver. Stab screwdriver into cigarette outlet, backfeeding power. All dead systems come alive. Drive to wagon, hold 12V+ screwdriver very carefully, engage auger and unload. Swing auger back in, remove screwdriver backfeed, get in tractor, haul ass to the shed with wagons. Make it to shed, drink beer, watch rain, team macgyver wins one today...

The problem ended up being one of the two main power relays back on the engine platform.
