NE ND | This would be news to me. I worked for Deere for 8.5 yrs and never heard of this. They are great engines. I was told once almost all of Yanmars assembly is done by robots which maybe equates to a high level of quality. One thing I learned the hard way is that yanmar numbers their main bearing caps with #1 starting at the flywheel. Didn't damage anything, but took a looooong time to figure out why the crank wouldn't turn when the caps were bolted down. | |
