Missouri | That depends on what you consider post processing.
With older monitors, that was definitely true. The older ones didn't make automatic swath adjustments, and just counted a full header swath (unless you manually adjusted it on the monitor). Post processing back then would correct swath width based on previous, adjacent passes. This was done in the software on the computer.
I know guys that will calibrate on the last few acres of the field, and call it *post processing* because of the way the monitors can back calibrate to the beginning of the season. Not really the same thing, but he insists on calling it that.
The current generation of monitors don't leave as much to be done in post. | |
