Unrealistically high yields can also be the result of incorrect swath control (taking a full swath, but the monitor thinks it's a half swath, will double indicated yield).

I'm not sure how it's done with deere's monitors, but with Ag Leader's, a back calibration has the potential to get your data as accurate as it would have been if the machine was calibrated that day. Most any other method of data processing doesn't do much help. For all the accuracy that map will have you may as well get a box of Crayola's and make your map look however you want it. Without good data, all you're really doing is fudging numbers.

I hope the outfit that did your harvesting set the separator adjustments better than they maintained monitor calibration. For that matter, I hope they didn't bill you for mapping yield when all they did was produce junk data.
